Change Leave Request Notifications for a Supervisor Change in Core

Summary

This document addresses work instructions for how to change leave request notifications.

 

When an employee transfers from one supervisor to another, leave notification emails will continue to be sent to the previous supervisor unless a change of leave notification is done.  It is important that these steps are done in sequential order and before the employee is transferred to the new supervisor.

  1. From quick menu on the left side, open Login Accounts (Figure 1).  Please note, the menu name may differ from Login Accounts for each organization.

 2. Select the supervisor who will no longer be managing the employee and click on the pencil next to their name (Figure 2).

 3. From the dropdown menu, select Receiving of Employee Notifications (Figure 3).

 4. Select the appropriate Workgroup for the employee; change the Message Received by from Always to Never (Figure 4).

 5. Navigate to the employee’s Personal Information page and select Workgroup from the dropdown menu (Figure 5).

 6. Change the employee’s workgroup and click OK (Figure 6).

 7. Navigate back to the Login Account (from the menu) and select the pencil icon next to the employee’s new supervisor, following the same process in Steps 2 and 3 above.

  8. Select the appropriate Workgroup for the employee; change the Message Received by from Never to Always (Figure 7).
