Managing Notes on a Time Card

Summary

This document addresses work instructions for how to manage notes on an employee’s time card.

 

Managing Notes

User can add notes when adding a punch, crediting hours, crediting dollars, and transferring workgroups.

 

To Add a Note:

  1. Click Pencil icon on the day to add or remove a note (Figure 1).

  2.  Select Notes/Comments.

  3.  Select Add a Note (Figure 2).

  4.  Enter the note in the Notes: text field (Figure 3).

  5.  Click OK (Figure 4).

Note:  The notations are displayed in the time card body.

 

Remove All Notes on Day

 

Notations Can Be Managed as Follows:

  1.  Click Pencil icon on the day to add or remove a note (Figure 1).

  2.  Select Notes/Comments.

  3.  Select Remove all Notes on Day (Figure 2).

  4.  The notes have been removed from time card (Figure 3).

 

Adjusting Notes

Existing notes can be modified or removed.

 

To Adjust a Note:

  1.  Click on the Quotes icon (Figure 1).

  2.  A partial popup window will appear (Figure 2).

3.   Click in the window and the Adjust Note window will appear (Figure 3).

  4.  Modify the note

       Note: To delete the note, check the Remove this Note: checkbox.

  5.  Click OK.
