Hosts and Port for the GT Clocks

Summary

This document includes instructions on the Host and Port configuration for the GT series timeclocks.

When implementing GT series clocks using GT Connect, the following hosts and IP addresses must be configured for two-way communication:

Hosts and Ports

- register.gtconnectedservices.com, port 443 (HTTPS)

- global.azure-devices-provisioning.net, port 443 (HTTPS)

- iot-hub-aegis-eastus2.azure-devices.net, port 5671 (AMQPS)  (GtConnect Service / Firmware connection)

- device.gtconnectedservices.com, port 443 (HTTPS)  (Application Communications)

- remote.eastus2.gtconnectedservices.com, port 443 (HTTPS)  (Interactive View)

-VNC port 5900

-assist it port 5222

Please note that none of these are compatible with IP whitelisting.  The IP address of each is subject to change without notice.  To minimize disruption, use the hostnames for networking and firewall configuration whenever possible.  The device will need to be rebooted after firewall changes.
