Summary

This document outlines how to surface mount the tms100 with the single-gang electrical box

The included power supply plugs into a standard electrical outlet. The cord is 54” long and connects to the rear of the tms100 timeclock.

     *For communications to the internet, a standard RJ-45 Ethernet cable with a Male connector is required and plugs into the rear of the tms100 timeclock.

     *The tms100 Timeclock should be mounted 56.3” from floor to bottom of the unit.

     *The tms100 Timeclock back plate is designed to fit over and connect to a single-gang electrical box that is either flush mounted in the wall, or surface mounted to the wall.

*An open cavity is required behind the unit for connecting power and Ethernet, and a single-gang plastic surface-mount electrical box is included with the shipment of the tms100 timeclock. This can be used (if needed) for mounting the tms100 Timeclock to any wall surface. 

     *High amounts of ambient light must be avoided intense light sources such as sunlight or halogen lamps may reduce the image capture performance of the tms100 and result in increased “failure to acquire” rate.

     *The tms100 was designed for indoor use only. This device is not weatherproof and must not be exposed to precipitation or extreme temperatures. If it is required to use this product in an outdoor or extreme environment, a       3rd Party enclosure may be used to protect the device from exposure to dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures.  Installation in an extreme environment without proper protection may cause permanent damage and void the warranty.
